Power Supply PCB for C2

Unread post by gvdbe.fr » Sun Jul 22, 2018 1:56 am

Hi to all.
I bought MEAN WELL Power Supply for my C2. But doesn't power on the board. No led flashing. Nothing up.
The power is stable around 5/6 V.

Anybody have experience about PCB Power Supply compliance for C2 ans others boards ?

6v is too high, the voltage shouldn't be higher than 5.25v AFAIK.

Use official power supply.

Code: Select all

If you are looking to power up cluster of odroid c2 boards below product.

Code: Select all

Anker PowerPort 10 (60W 10-Port USB Charging Hub) Multi-Port USB Charger

I personally used a Meanwell RS-15-5 (5V, 3A) PSUs many times, along with a bunch of very different PSUs. They all worked perfectly.

So just make sure your ODROID unit is ok/functional by using a known-to-work reference PSU, and then any other 5V PSU with compatible specifications (amperage, stability, etc.) will work. I personally have no "official" PSU at all.
