I finaly solve the issue. That works fine now (fix is longer as before but this issue is known).

I change line in changed build.prop:
from:
ro.kernel.android.gps=ttyUSB0
ro.kernel.android.gps.speed=4800

to:
ro.kernel.android.gps=/dev/ttyUSB0
ro.kernel.android.gps.speed=4800

Thanks all for your help :-)

Hello
with android v.1.9 the GPS connected very fast , instant :). Thanks a lot.

But can you add the line
Code: Select all
insmod /system/lib/modules/pl2303.ko
in file init.odroidc2.rc, in source code? because i have too add all the time when i make the update.

Thanks.

Thank you for the confirmation.
But only few people are using the pl2303 based devices and we don't want to waste memory and booting time.
Please understand this situation.

Add GPS V/PID odroid-usbgps.xml.
Code: Select all
$ su
# mount -o rw,remount /
# vi /odroid-usbgps.xml

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<odroid-gps>
  <default device="/dev/ttyACM0" baudrate="9600" />
  <devices>
    <usbdev vid="xxxx" pid="xxxx" baudrate="9600" />
  </devices>

  <devices>
    <usbdev vid="1546" pid="01a7" baudrate="9600" />
  </devices>
</odroid-gps>

Is anybody can help me?

I think something force my gps to be mapped on ttyGPS Baud Rate 9600 . My gps not working on this baud rate only on 4800.

Is there a way to make my gps working on ttyUSB0 Baut Rate 4800 like was before?
I could go back on few versions back but there i have another problem with the internet :-S

The way what you can try is to modify 'odroid-usbgps.xml' while adding VID/PID of your GPS device with the decent baud rate 4800.
Please check what are VID and PID of your GPS device and they are described in odroid-usbgps.xml.
Code: Select all
  <devices>
    <usbdev vid="xxxx" pid="xxxx" baudrate="4800" />
  </devices>

Yes i have Arduino Pro Micro for rotary encoder and for buttons to open apps. With this i don't need to compile android.

L.E.
99% of the problem is that board. If i take of that board the gps is working...or if i connect that board after boot everything is ok.

What can i do?
