Unread post by saamishon » Wed Jan 28, 2015 10:01 pm

@saamishon, I am just afraid if you are facing MicroSD problem since you have Samsung EVO. I guess it won't be happen since you uncommented "disableuhs" option, but just make sure... Don't you have USB-serial kit? Then please capture the log and post in this thread. Also I recommend you to try to change "vout_mode" to "dvi" instead of "hdmi".

No flashing blue light...right?
Could you try with SanDisk MicroSD, class 10 or UHS-I card? If it doesn't help you to boot C1, we should start to doubt the H/W problem.

This card is class UHS-l. I turned off the supply for 20 mins or so. Now the blue light and ethernet ports are blinking. I think the processor is overheating

Now again its just the red light. XU3 is mindblowing. Very happy with it. I just bought this 4 hours ago and I'm very disappointed :-(

If I am correct, you are trying with Samsung EVO MicroSD. Not SanDisk MicroSD. Right?

Ridiculous, at least good to know you have Samsung SDXC. Blinking blue LED mean C1 loaded kernel image and running, but you have another problem.
If you have flashed Ubuntu v1.2, then let's remove "console=ttyS0,115200n8" in the boot.ini. It would show you kernel log while blue LED is blinking if HDMI does not have any issue. Try with other resolution as well like 720P. If this doesn't help you, try Android v1.2. It will show you Hardkernel logo very early before kernel is started. At least we can check HDMI connection is fine. Some users resolved such problem while connect micro USB cable to C1 and PC or TV. :(

No joy. Nothings happening. What might be the reason if the blue light blinks occasionally? If I turn on the power, most of the time just the red light will be on. Is it the hardware fault or I should wait for new images?

:( Still I have a doubt about MicroSD. I recommend you to try SanDisk MicroSD before we judge that your C1 have hardware issue. Otherwise, even though new image comes it won't help us. Would be best to have UART-serial cable to be clear.

Still no use :-( I've set 720p and removed "console=ttyS0,115200n8" also. I have ordered micro HDMI to HDMI converter. It arrives tomorrow. I'll check with a DELL monitor once.

I have the same problem. The screen was always dark.

I use a Samsung EVO64GB

As soon as I connected power, only the red LED light up.

I found that if I shortly interrupted power supply and then plugged again the blue LED light up but without display

With this boot.ini and plug power supply twice a got a display

Code: Select all

I have no idea why 1080p is not working for me :( and why i have to shortly interrupt power supply after first connection

I had used the same card. Now i switched to Sandisk 16GB class4. Everything is fine now. Sandisk class 10 may work great.
