SPI TX/RX Registers

Unread post by barakp » Thu Mar 07, 2019 12:21 am

Hey!

I read a little about the SPI Registers, and noticed that there's two registers, one for TX and another for RX.
This is possible to change the R/W access of these registers programally if I locate the register memory address?

For example, change the register TXDATA to became RXDATA buffer by editing the registers bits (TXDATA is Write, and can be changes to be Read?).

Thank you,
Barak.

I don't think you can swap the registers on the fly.

Are you going to modify the SPI device driver source code in the Kernel?
