How to define key with modifier in remote.conf?

Unread post by mpo » Tue Jan 22, 2019 12:00 am

Hi,
I successfully defined my IR remote in /system/etc/remote.conf file.
Almost everything works, but I need to simulate pressing combination keys on the keyboard. One application uses such combination to navigation.
How to define in remote.conf combination eg. SHIFT+SPACE ???

Regards

You may have to use an automation application like Tasker to accomplish that.

Thank you for the answer.
How about mouse wheel emulation on IR transmitter? Is it possible to mimic turning wheel with some codes?
I tried scrollup and scrolldown key event codes, but no success.
