Now this planet is a little more beautiful place.

I need it for LXC-Networking.

Linux odroid 3.10.80-94 #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Jun 12 16:23:48 BRT 2015 armv7l armv7l armv7l GNU/Linux
I installed it with deboostrap and added hardkernel keys and repositories. Are boot.ini settings relevant for network?
I have: setenv hpd "0", setenv cec "0"

Thx

A potential distributor has asked if I could support the Odroid-C1 for my new "Pi Droid Alpha" educational robot controller board for the Raspberry Pi.

http://www.mikronauts.com/raspberry-pi/pi-droid-alpha/

If there was a port of "servoblaster" I could easily support it on the C1.

Or a port of joan's "pigpio" which also uses DMA to drive servos/pwm's.

My board is electrically compatible with the C1, the problem is the lack of software servo/pwm on the C1.

Will Hardkernel port servoblaster?

Before anyone helpfully suggests that I port it - I find the S805 DMA documentation insufficient, and there are no examples that I could find for DMA from memory to gpio, at a programmed rate. There are also no user examples for the timers, which would also be needed.

for PWM we do have a wiki entry about it : http://odroid.com/dokuwiki/doku.php?id= ... rdware_pwm

As for DMA access to it we requested it for AMLogic and we are waiting for their answer.

Thank you for the response - unfortunately two hardware PWM's is not enough to support a dual H-Bridge and up to six servos.

Also thanks for asking AMLogic, I am looking forward to seeing what they say.

Edit:

Basically I need to be able to provide a mix of PWM and servo control signals on up to 8 GPIO's.

servoblaster can provide eight servo signals, and joan's pigpio can provide any mix of PWM and servo signals.

I suggest that Hardkernel port pigpio (with PWM and servo functionality) to all Odroid boards, as that will make them compatible with a lot of code used on the Raspberry Pi.

How to enable LOG target for iptables?

sudo iptables -A INPUT -j LOG
iptables: No chain/target/match by that name.
(using C1 / Ubuntu - latest)

I was using 3.10.64-37. I just found out that Kernel 3.10.80-117 already has the feature so no need to do anything. Please disregard.

Would you please add support for the Edimax technology wireless adapters with ID 0x7932, 0xa813? It's an rtl8812 chipset. Thanks!

Yea it does, but my device has ID 7932,a813 and the devices covered are 7932,a811/12 but not 13. I tried to recompile and install the 8812 driver but I'm having any issues during this process! :(

This is a RTL8812au right?

Remember...

8812au = Dual Band AC
8821 = Single Band AC

I messed up..again... :( Sorry!

It's actually an RTL8821 chipset. Would you please move to under the "CONFIG_RTL8821A" section of the driver? Thanks!

No this is not a RTL8812au. Please check my post again, VID and PID 2013:025f = PCTV tripleStick (292e)

All the details is above in this thread. Thanks

sudo apt-get install exfat-fuse exfat-utils

It would be nice to have modules for more game controllers. I think in the actual kernel there is only modules for xbox controllers. I would like to have drivers for psx controllers (With a usb adapter). I think the modules I need are listed in menuconfig as "Multisystem, NES, SNES, N64, PSX joysticks and gamepads" module.

Obviously not. This is the Ubuntu thread... If you need it for Android you should ask on Android forums.

No real hardware dependence, should be easy? Also Ubuntu had it since 11.10, so there is already a backport I guess.

Hello mdrj,
my USB-Ethernet adapter unfortunately works only with older and newer kernel versions than 3.10.

Would you please add the patch „usbnet: mcs7830: rework link state detection“ (23 Dec 2013) in more recent linux kernels (3.13+) for mcs7830.c in drivers/net/usb/ ? It is just a local change.

https://github.com/torvalds/linux/commi ... 41b6b5f1db

Thank you!

Best regards,
Armin

Is it possible that the rtl8812au kernel module is not compiled for ARM?
I'm getting the following errors when loading 8812au:
[99766.059169@3] 8812au: Unknown symbol wiphy_new (err 0)
[99766.059359@3] 8812au: Unknown symbol cfg80211_del_sta (err 0)
[99766.059414@3] 8812au: Unknown symbol cfg80211_inform_bss_frame (err 0)

The fix is to edit the Makefile with "CONFIG_PLATFORM_I386_PC = n" and "CONFIG_PLATFORM_ARM_RPI = y"

I found the solution here: https://github.com/abperiasamy/rtl8812A ... -114286771

8812AU driver was already included in V1.5 image.

w1-gpio
w1-therm

thanks
Would it be possible to add ds2490 also ? It's from the w1-library.
I have a DS9490R I would like to use, then the ds2490 is needed.

Thanks.

Hi, could you please add pci id [0bda:0811] to 8812AU driver module?
Here the wikidevi link: https://wikidevi.com/wiki/Manhattan_525602
The 8812au driver also supports this 8811au chipset.
Many thanks in advance
