Unread post by hongbita2 » Thu Jan 04, 2018 3:22 pm

Hello,

Is there any example to set USB Bluetooth as UART slave on C1 Ubuntu?

Once you paired the SPP device, you can access the RFCOMM via /dev/rfcomm0 probably.

Thanks for answer.

When I pair with smartphone, then dongle shows with name "odroid-0" as headphone device.

I think the dongle needs to change UUID as SPP device. but i don't know how to do.

And, Can i use bluetooth with /dev/ttyN node instead of /dev/rfcomm0?

I have no idea whether a smartphone can support the SPP device mode or not.
You have to check the features list of the smartphone Bluetooth first.

It must be simple to bind rfcomm0 to tty111. The command is

Code: Select all

sudo ln -s /dev/rfcomm0 /dev/tty111

Thank you.

I'll test tty node.

Smartphone supports SPP mode. I've run test with Bluetooth-Serial module.

Is there any embedded tool to change bluetooth device(adaptor) settings? Slave mode, UUID, etc

I think your smartphone worked in a SPP host mode not a device mode.
