anbox in Ubuntu 17.04

Unread postby ross03 » Mon Jul 24, 2017 5:28 pm

i install anbox 0.1.0 in ubuntu gnome 17.04 (zesty) with command: $ snap install --classic anbox-installer && anbox-installer.
Installation was succesfully, but do not start anything.
when i try from terminal, response is this:
$ anbox container-manager
[EE 2017-04-13 11:45:24] [container_manager.cpp:90@setup_mounts] Android image does not exist at path "/var/lib/anbox/android.img"
$ anbox session-manager. ... anything!
After installation it created a volume of 326 MB of anbox Android file system.

I forgot something?
Thank's

Wow, anbox sounds like a great project, but they say it's alpha, so you might want to ask them directly

Checking on this: https://github.com/anbox/anbox/issues/300
It seems there's more to it than just installing anbox (check the last comment from about 9 days ago). You also need a DKMS module and anbox-common package installed.

Your post seems great getting us ideas on anbox project and its functionalty.But going onto alpha is bit a difficult rather you can go for somethig that suits or is perfect for your project.
