Support Netflix in Chromium

Post by patoberli »

Hello together
I've just seen that one of the Archlinux guys produced a patched chromium build that contains the widevine plugin which is required for Netflix.

Sadly the Ubuntu devs aren't yet as far and haven't even decided if they really will include this. Arch does use the binary file libwidevinecdm.so, which comes from the x86 or x64 chrome build. I don't know if that would work under ARM.

What do you think, could this be a possible solution to get Netflix working in chromium?
