Qt5 Problem

Unread post by john7 » Tue Mar 17, 2020 4:48 pm

First I installed Qt5 this way

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get install qt5-default
sudo apt-get install qtcreator
sudo apt-get install qtdeclarative5-dev
When I open a project I get
The following plugins have errors and cannot be loaded
QmlDesigner
QmlProfiler

Plugin initialization failed Cannot create OpenGL context.
and when compile I get
cannot find -lGLESv2.
So I installed this way as suggested

Code: Select all

sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade
sudo apt install libfbclient2 libodbc1 libpq5 libsybdb5 libgles2-mesa-dev libxext-dev libinput-dev libxkbcommon-dev
wget https://dn.odroid.com/5422/ODROID-XU3/Ubuntu/qt5.9.5_armhf_bionic.tar.gz
tar xvfz qt5.9.5_armhf_bionic.tar.gz
cd qt5.9.5_armhf_bionic/
sudo dpkg -i *.deb
Now when I click on the Qt Creator link Qt doesn't run. What should I do?

Try the following two commands.

Code: Select all

sudo apt install qtbase5-examples
/usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/qt5/examples/opengl/cube/cube
Qt5 OpenGL-ES2 example should work like this.

when I get to the folder /usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/qt5/examples/opengl/cube I see no executable.

I get

I think you broke the GPU driver libraries while you installed other packages.
Manually reinstall the mali-x11 package.

Code: Select all

sudo apt install --reinstall mali-x11
After that try "es2gears" to check whether the GPU acceleration works or not.
