Unread postby Zaren » Mon Dec 04, 2017 4:43 am

Hello! I need help

Code: Select all
> echo 13 > /sys/class/gpio/export
bash: echo: write error: Device or resource busy

I need to work with gpio 13. I red that gpio13 is used for SPI MISO. I red about blacklist in mods.
There are my modules:

Code: Select all
> lsmod
fuse     70983    3
nls_cp437   5117   1
meson_gpiomem    3378 0
autofs4   22255 2

Code: Select all
> ls /sys/class/gpio/
./
../
export
gpiochip0 -> ../../devices/virtual/gpio/gpiochip0/
unexport

gpiochip0 it is 139 base

I also try to update linux. apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade
Code: Select all
>uname -a
Linux odroid 3.10.107-190 #1 SMP PREEMPT Mon Sep 4 20:41:37 UTC 2017 armv7l armv7l armv7l GNU/Linux

How to unlock my 13 gpio?
Rebuild kernel?

Thanks

One more newbe question :)

I done example with C Tinkering Kit with leds. It worked prefect. The question is the about usage 5v and 3v3. Part of LEDs connected to 5v and another ones to 3v3. As far I understand gpio's work with 3v3 volts and 5v can damage its. Or in Odroid c1+ gpio's have tolerance with 5v? I'm going to connect my Odroid with canbus module through ISP and that module works with 5v. Module this one

Can I plug it into Odroid SPI as is or I need to modify the expander IO voltage to 3.3V. ? For example:
For level-translating the SPI : https://www.sparkfun.com/products/11771
For the interrupt line: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/12009

I realy appreciate for your help,
Zaren

5Volt on ODROID board's GPIO will damage the CPU permanently.
Yes, you have to use a level-shifter circuit.
