USB OTG jumper removal, thermal difference.

The wiki states that you can "reduce the power consumption and heat significantly." but doesn't state how much is "significantly" is. Is it 3*C under load? 5*C? Is it just the heat of that part of the board? I'd like to know the overall difference to know if I need to buy a power adapter because if we're truly talking about significant differences then I'll go ahead and buy it.

The idle temperature depends on governor, ambient temperature, case. With the jumper not removed my C2 would idle at around 55-57C. With it removed it idles near 50C. I also have a C2 with a modified blue heatsink that idles at around 45C.
I haven't measured power consumption.
