I know the C1 is old as the hills. I've been using it as a call blocker using NCID and it's been working as it should, until recently. It isn't booting. The blue "heartbeat" LED isn't pulsing but the red LED is.
Is there anyone out there in C1 land who might have an idea on what's wrong? I suspect the EMMC has worn out but that's just a guess.
Thanks
Mark

Re: C1 dead
Best thing to do is flash the last image from Hardkernel in a spare SD and see if it will boot.
If not, second thing to try is measure the power supply voltage under load.

And if you manage to boot it from SD card, you can check the wear of eMMC, as this is quite likely after many years.
Power supply may have also failed, true.
And if nothing else works, it's worth measuring voltages on a pin header, if 3.3V is present, and 1.8V if that model generates it as well.
Code: Select all
sudo apt install mmc-utils
sudo mmc extcsd read /dev/mmcblk0 | grep -E 'LIFE|EOL'
And if nothing else works, it's worth measuring voltages on a pin header, if 3.3V is present, and 1.8V if that model generates it as well.

Re: C1 dead
It was the power supply. I swapped in a spare one I had on hand and the board booted up just fine.
Thanks for the suggestion!
