Optimal OS for C1

Hello wonderful people!
What is the optimal OS for an old Odroid C1 - original, not +?
I suppose it highly depends on what I want to use it for. Still, what are the best options?

It depends on what you want to use it for
You can use Hardkernel's android for a media-player/retro gaming setup, or Hardkernel's Ubuntu for a desktop linux experience, or ListerTV for kodi, or armbian for better docker support.

If you want to do web surfing, just give up since newer version of Debian/Ubuntu desktop OS are too heavy and complicated to run on any 1GB RAM devices even with ZRAM stuff.

Is there any older, light-weight Linux desktop OS that would still run on this device?

If I wanted to turn it into a Hi-Fi, I suppose I would have to add a DAC or some sort of external soundcard to the device - as the C1 is missing the built-in audio I2S interface, which the C1+ already had.

Some affordable USB HiFi sound cards should work fine with Volumio OS.

If you don't need to see a video on web-browser, the lightweight Midori browser works reasonably with 2 or 3 tabs on our latest Ubuntu 20.04 image.

I used to run DietPi on my C1. That gave me basic web browsing and kodi. I forget if youtube in firefox worked.
I have a chromebook now so switched over to lisertv and it works well for just kodi.
