myAHRS+ and Android

Post by patrick »

Hey ODROID community,

I just received a shiny new XU4 in the mail along with a myAHRS+ module. For a project, I'm running Android 4.4 on the XU4 and would like to get the myAHRS+ to be recognized as the system's primary accelerometer.

Does anybody have any experience doing this? I've seen extensive documentation about using the myAHRS+ with Windows and various flavors of standard Linux, but not with Android - much less as the primary system IMU.

As an ODROID newbie. I'm open to any and all feedback, suggestions, and recommendations

myAHRS+ doesn't work with Android. Nobody has a plan to support it.

If you know well the Android OS sensor framework, you can port it probably.
Refer this Android OS build guide and Sensor HAL framework porting example.
