The smart watch demo hardware
Hi everyone
I've seen the Smart watch demo video (http://youtu.be/JyL1to-9x_4) and I was wondering which are the hardware parts for :
- the screen (I don't see any docking board)
- the Bluetooth module (there are many)
If anybody have some refs and/or schematics, that could be awesome.

Re: The smart watch demo hardware
The smartwatch demo uses the SPI screen from the docking board connect to the ODROID-W without the docking board.
Bluetooth module there is just a ordinary bluetooth stripped down from its connectors and case and soldered directly to the USB port on ODROID-W

Re: The smart watch demo hardware
More detail information about the smart watch demo will be mentioned in the ODROID Magazine August issue.
I think it will be published within 10 days.
We also need to check the availability of touch screen for 2.2~2.4 inch display first.
Another important option should be resistive vs capacitive type.
Let's try to find a nice solution with reasonable price range.

Re: The smart watch demo hardware
It looks like a small 320x240 touch-screen doesn't have to be too expensive
Here are 2 examples that might help:
* Cichin LCD <$2 on Alibaba
* WVShare LCD ~$10

many thanks
One more question (pardon me if you already answered to this one) do you plan to sell the lcd screen alone (without the docking board) ?

Not at this moment.
How about this product?
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/2-2-2-2i ... 44806.html
It seems to be much easier soldering.

Re: The smart watch demo hardware
I think only the official RPi camera works because of the hard-coded video core firmware.

Re: The smart watch demo hardware
Hi just wondering with this little display could you use it with an XU3? and how the connection would work?
I'm looking for a capacitive display that would just work with the odroid at this kind of small form factor? I'm having a hard time tracking down interface boards to get it working..
