Composite Video

Unread post by astraios » Thu Jul 31, 2014 5:12 pm

Hi!

I am wondering if composite video will work with the ODROID-W? According to the schematics BCM2835's pins P14 and N15 are routed to TP1 on the PCB. On the Pi they are routet to the Composite connector. So if I add the two diodes between ground, 2v5 and the composite connector's ground (like on page 6 of the raspi schematic: http://www.raspberrypi.org/wp-content/u ... .2_027.pdf), it should work, shouldn't it? Or would there be anything else to do in order to get it to work?

Cheers!
Robert

Hi, Robert

Diodes use only as electrical protect on Raspberry Pi so do not affect the composite operation.
Test composite video output and then I will tell you the results.
There will be no problem .

Hi, Robert

Composite Video worked well on odroid w.

TP1 is connected to composite signal, and Groud is connected to shield of RCA
